“Words of Affirmarion is one of my love languages so it was perfect Hearing and seeing those I truly wanted to enjoy this moment with.”

If i were to tell myself on the airplane coming back from our Chicago trip on March 15th, that i would be celebrating my 30th Birthday entirely indoors, I wouldn't have believed it. But you play the hand you’re delt, and make the most of it.
we are somewhere between the ninth and tenth week of quarantine or something like that, and had the opportunity to celebrate the iconic “Dirty” thirty reporting live from the couch. Natasha surprised me by further quarantining me to the bedroom while she prepped the rest of the apartment for the festivities.
She taped up streamers, blew up balloons, and pinned up signs. I was greeted woth my favorite French toast and eggs with champagne bubbling. “Aged to perfection” was the theme with beer and spirits alike. While eating, i was surprised yet again with a compilation video that Natasha teamed up with my bro Ryan to cook up for my big day. It had an array of friends and family, like my cousins, college roommates, and Frat brothers. They wished me Happy Birthday, spoke on my character, my optimism, and my genuine desire to support those i care about. It’s great to be loved, and for your loved ones to honor you while you can still hear it. Words of Affirmarion is one of my love languages so it was perfect Hearing and seeing those I truly wanted to enjoy this moment with. I finished a bottle of Hennessy, drank craft cocktails with my lady, and even attempted to power through the Matrix trilogy (until we tapped out after reloaded). All in all it was a fantastic birthday and i wouldn’t change a thing, except maybe giving a few of them real hugs outside. I love and thank you all for your encouraging words and support theoufhtout this journey to today. I guess this is 30, I hope my knees and back won’t start hurting too bad.
